It is known to all WOW players that it is inevitable that there will become some Bugs after the WOW is officially released. But some players may make use of these Bugs to make WOW gold or get some other benefits illegally.
We have known that on December 30th, 2009, a part WOW players of a guild in Demon Fall Canyon server in Taiwan China gain a great number of badges by unknown ways. Furthermore, they use these badges to exchange for a lot of jewelry and Aetherium, as well we the latest materials called Primordial Saronite.
By the way, Primordial Saronite is considered as important as the Sun Dust as it is the critical material of the mission Orange Ax. Besides, it is the material for many business skills to create purple equipment. It can be exchanged with 23 Frost Badges. On the other hand, it is said that these players has made money laundry through serve transfer and transactions.
For this WOW matter, some players analyze that they use the return mechanism of the exchanged items to duplicate the badge and buy a large number of equipment from the NPC, and then apply for a refund to the GM. When the GM hands in the dealing numbers, they sell the equipment back to the NPC. After the GM returns the badges to them, the equipment which should have been removed has sold to the NPC. In this way, the badges are duplicated unlimitedly. As almost all members of the guild duplicate the badges, it is guessed that there is someone who is aware of the GM. Thus, they can make use of the GM powers to duplicate the badges.
In fact, the WOW GM himself has no right to interfere the players to play the game, but he can help the players deal with problems. That is to say, the guild asks the GM to help them deal with the application of returning the exchanged item never-endingly to achieve the purpose of gaining a great amount of badges for the guild. Now the official WOW has issued a notice to remove this mechanism. It is estimated that now they are making investigation to find out the GM who did such things.
